No Apologies
So in my opinion, I don't apologize often, if at all for one simple reason: IF I didn't mean it I wouldn't have said it at all.
Now I know this sounds "cold" or "self absorbed" but it's my attitude about it.
I believe this whole feeling came from years and years of apologies from many individuals. People use 2 phrases way too often: "I'm sorry" and "I love you". I will write on the "I love you" some other time.
Okay, you kick me in the shin once ... I'm sorry ... is okay... but you do it again? And then apologize again? I guess the first "sorry" becomes invalid, and automatically makes the second kick in the shin a poor excuse.
It's an overused phrase and that's the reason why I don't use it.
